    Deploy Blocker Investigation

Causing PR: Reapply "Add a More menu option to switch single-expense reports between expense view and table view" (high confidence). It's in the 9.5.16-0 checklist and adds the "Switch to table view" option itself, so these steps couldn't be followed before it.

Recommendation: Demote and fix forward. This is a brief visual flash in a new opt-in view. Nothing is lost and the user still ends up in the workspace chat.

Root cause: More > Delete closes the expense pane first, which shows the single-expense report underneath. The expense is deleted only after the close animation plus a 300ms delay. The report then empties and gets deleted, and only after that does the app redirect to the workspace chat. The PR already guards against this for the Delete option on the expense details page, but not for More > Delete.

Recommended fix: In MoneyRequestHeaderSecondaryActions.tsx#L642-L650, check whether the expense being deleted is the parent report's last one. If it is, go straight to the workspace chat. Do it the same way the PR does in useReportDetailsDeleteModal.ts#L72-L79, for example with getNavigationUrlOnMoneyRequestDelete + navigateOnDeleteExpense.

    Investigation details
    1. Before the PR, an expense opened from a single-expense report was always redirected back to the report. The PR turns that redirect off in table view (OneTransactionThreadRedirectHandler.tsx#L96-L97). Now the expense can stay open on top of a report that has only that one expense.
    2. Tapping the row opens the expense in the right-hand pane (useNavigateToTransactionThread.ts#L112). On Android that pane is full-screen, with the report underneath.
    3. More > Delete calls navigateBackToLastSuperWideRHPScreen. On narrow layouts that just closes the pane (Navigation.ts#L1178-L1180), which shows the report. The delete runs after CONST.EXPENSE_REPORT_DELETE_DELAY_MS.
    4. Deleting the report's only expense also deletes the report. The report briefly shows as empty (MoneyRequestReportView.tsx#L162-L163). Then ReportNavigateAwayHandler.tsx#L171-L195 redirects to the workspace chat. That gap is the flash in the video.

No other PR in the staging checklist touches these files.

Revert context: Two other open blockers on this release also point to the same PR:

If either of those warrants a revert, reverting the PR also clears this one. On its own, this issue doesn't justify a revert.

Next Steps: Reply with @MelvinBot implement this to create a draft PR, or @MelvinBot <your feedback> to refine this analysis.
