Identify the pull request that introduced this issue and revert it.
Recommendation: fix forward, don't revert. The PR touches 90+ files, including native patches and a dependency bump. [CP Staging] Fix liquid glass bottom tab bar issues is already on staging and depends on it. The bug is cosmetic and mobile-web only.
Root cause (medium confidence on mechanism): On narrow web, two tab bars are drawn on top of each other: the navigator's bar and a copy inside each tab-root screen. Before this PR, the navigator's bar was full width with a solid background, so it hid the copy. The PR made it a floating capsule with see-through margins. Both the workspace list and the workspace page count as tab-root screens, so the navigator's bar stays visible while the workspace page slides in from the right. The screens' moving bar copies show through the capsule's margins.
Fix options:
Smallest: use SLIDE_FROM_RIGHT for the workspace/domain split navigators only on native. Web has no swipe-back anyway. Mobile web would lose the slide.
Keep the slide: hide the navigator's bar in TabNavigatorBar while this transition runs, as it already does when navigating to deeper screens.
Investigation details
Permalinks use App commit 15064ef1682b7d6fa62933b1a70a485ee6ef0724.
Why only this flow: tab switches have no animation, and deeper screens (for example, a report) hide the navigator's bar. Opening a domain from the domains list likely shows the same bug. iOS and Android use native tab bars, so they are not affected.
Not verified: I couldn't view the issue video. If the extra bar stays visible after the slide finishes, the cause is more than the transition and needs another look. If it only appears during the slide, demoting the blocker is also reasonable.

Causing PR: Add liquid glass bottom tab bar to iOS, Android and mWeb (high confidence). It is the only PR in Deploy Checklist: New Expensify 2026-10-16 that touches the tab bar, the tab-root screen wrapper, or the workspace navigators.
