Precondition:
Test:
The changes apply only to non-mobile devices.
Precondition: account with the insightsPage beta and expenses in the current year, including one with a long category or merchant name.
Open the Insights tab.
Hover a bar on Top spenders and verify the tooltip shows the name in bold, $amount (share%) and N expenses on a light card with a border and no pointer.
Repeat step 2 on a period of Spend over time and on a slice of the Top categories donut.
Hover the item with the long name and verify the text wraps and the tooltip isn't wider than the chart.
Hover the leftmost and rightmost bars and verify the tooltip stays inside the chart.
Hover the tallest bar on Top spenders and verify the tooltip is fully visible over the card header.
Scroll to the top, hover the highest point on Spend over time and verify the tooltip shows below the point.
Hover a low point on Spend over time and verify the tooltip shows above the point.
Hover a bar and scroll with the mouse wheel without moving the mouse. Verify the tooltip moves with the chart, switches to the bar under the cursor, and hides when there's no bar under it.
Hover a tall bar and scroll until its top leaves the screen. Verify the tooltip stays on screen.
Switch to dark mode and repeat steps 2–3.
Go to Home and repeat step 2 on the Insights card.
Open a Spend search with group-by:category view:bar, then view:line and view:pie, and repeat step 2.
In a chat, hover a bar in a message that contains a chart and verify the tooltip shows the label and the amount.
