Release 0.66.0. Not tagged: the tag is the maintainer's.

What

Minor bump, not patch: a validator, formatter or mcp spec's env block is renamed variables (breaking, #2734).

Verified on the tree built from 32fa133

  • check_release_tree: OK -- 226 files, 2702118 bytes
  • claude plugin validate --strict with CLI 2.1.287 (the version release-branch.yml pins): passed. 2.1.280 fails it on the four listing URL keys, as expected below 2.1.281.
  • smoke_release_tree.py --validate require with 2.1.287: smoke: OK, both hooks exit 0; the session hook prints no unknown operation.
  • Shared sweep.sh and sweep-py.sh: no known shape.
  • Pushed to release-preview @ 2e0cf0c for a portal validation.

macOS / Python 3.13 locally; the other legs are CI.

After merge

Tag v0.66.0 on the merge commit; release-branch.yml builds and publishes release. Then validate release in the portal, withdraw the in-review submission (it tracks the old release), and resubmit.

The folded 0.66.0 section, cut into the release tree, repeated in prose
every word the #2734 portal passes removed from the code (sweep-py: 10
hits) and put .claude-plugin/icon.png in backticks, which
check_release_tree.py refuses: the tag would have failed verify. Denied;
docs/releasing.md and the real-build test say so (red first).
