The word devious once meant simply "out of the common or direct way", and that's the spirit here: concepts off the beaten path.

This organization is home to software, tools, and experiments that take less obvious routes: sometimes practical, sometimes exploratory, but always deliberate.

Devious Concepts is not a company or separate legal entity. It is a project banner used by viell (viell-dev on GitHub) for more deliberate and maintained work, distinct from the miscellaneous repositories on my personal accounts.
