  • Stop a cancelled pipeline from its own thread and give it Worker:StopGraceSeconds (default 30) to unwind
  • A pipeline still running after the grace is abandoned: the caller gets its timeout and the pool replaces the worker
  • A sequential run swaps out a pinned worker that hung
  • /healthz reports workers.hung and workers.hungTotal
  • e2e: hung-worker section (run-e2e.ps1 -HungOnly) driving PerfHang and PerfBgHang
