Installation

Create a bootable ISO

• Install the latest bluebuild CLI tool:

  curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/blue-build/cli/main/install.sh
  

• Generate an ISO from a published package:

  sudo bluebuild generate-iso --iso-name mithril-44-x64.iso image ghcr.io/catslobber/mithril:latest
  

  or for the gaming variant:

  sudo bluebuild generate-iso --iso-name mithril-gaming-44-x64.iso image ghcr.io/catslobber/mithril-gaming:latest
  

Rebase an existing atomic Fedora installation

• Rebase to the unsigned image to get the proper signing keys and policies installed and reboot:

  rpm-ostree rebase ostree-unverified-registry:ghcr.io/catslobber/mithril:latest
  systemctl reboot
  

  or for the gaming variant:

  rpm-ostree rebase ostree-unverified-registry:ghcr.io/catslobber/mithril-gaming:latest
  systemctl reboot
  

• Then rebase to the signed image and reboot again to complete the installation:

  rpm-ostree rebase ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/catslobber/mithril:latest
  systemctl reboot
  

  mithril-gaming:

  rpm-ostree rebase ostree-image-signed:docker://ghcr.io/catslobber/mithril-gaming:latest

Verification

These images are signed with Sigstore's cosign. You can verify the signature by downloading the cosign.pub file from this repo and running the following command:

cosign verify --key cosign.pub ghcr.io/catslobber/mithril
