The eMudhra/emSign root CA has been pulled from Mozilla-derived trust stores because its intermediates' private keys are weak (python.org advisory, uv GHSA-hq85-5cpj-mr62). Any tool still trusting it, such as uv < 0.13.4, pip < 26.2.2 or certifi < 2026.10.19, can have its TLS connections intercepted, including connections to PyPI.
