Computer Science + Interaction Design at QUT · Brisbane, Australia
I build interactive software, simulations and local AI tools,
and I care about how they feel to use as much as how they work.
Right now: third year at QUT · working on Tessellate and Snipdeck · looking for internships in software engineering, applied AI or product design

HELIXLABS. Each species' behaviour comes entirely from its sequence of 26 base proteins, and the ecosystem behaviour emerges from how they interact. It has an in-game Species Index, ambient audio layered from the state of the dish, and a tutorial with hints. Also shown at QUT's Creative Coding exhibition at The Lanes, Fortitude Valley (July 2026). JavaScript · p5.js · p5.sound · GitHub Pages
Golf on the Gold Coast. Built for DXB111 Introduction to Web Design. Semantic HTML, Flexbox, custom properties and mobile-first media queries. The design rationale covers the audience, colour, type and accessibility decisions.
Astraea. Dual, prompt-only and advice-only modes at three levels, with a deconstruct → diagnose → develop → deliver pipeline, a prompt linter and a QA gate. The model is Llama 3.1 8B Instruct in 4-bit via Unsloth, trained with TRL's SFTTrainer on an A100: LoRA r=64, alpha=128, RSLoRA on all attention and MLP projections, about 2,700 curated examples. It ships as GGUF q4_k_m for llama.cpp, Ollama, Open WebUI and Jan.
Most of the code in these projects was written by Claude Code. I set the direction, design, scope and quality bar, and I review and test what ships.
More detail
Tessellate. Notes, documents, whiteboards, mind maps, a knowledge graph, a timeline and reminders in one app. It imports from Notion, Obsidian, Evernote, Apple Notes, PDFs and Word files, and does Whisper transcription and OCR locally. Everything lives in one SQLite file, with encrypted private notes. It has 10,200+ offline tests with every AI call faked, Playwright end-to-end tests, CodeQL and performance checks in CI, and a Windows installer that CI installs, upgrades and uninstalls before each release. Formerly MemoryMap AI. Python · FastAPI · SQLite · vanilla JS · D3 · Ollama
Snipdeck. SQLite and FTS5 storage, a template engine, XChaCha20 encryption for sensitive items, and importers from Ditto and CopyQ. The core library is tested in CI; the Windows layer still has to be tested on real Windows machines.
lean-workflow. Guards against whole-file reads of huge files, repeated failing calls and agents with no model named. It adds a code map and start-of-session script, one command for the repo's checks, and an end-of-session retro. It grew out of the rules I use daily on Tessellate.
