Hi, I'm Babak Ranjgar 👋

Geospatial Data Scientist | GeoAI · Spatial Analytics · Machine Learning

I am a Geospatial Data Scientist and researcher with a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, working at the intersection of GIScience, spatial data science, machine learning, and GeoAI.

I develop transparent and reproducible geospatial methodologies that integrate heterogeneous spatial data, spatial analysis, machine learning, and explainable AI to support evidence-based planning and infrastructure decisions.

My research and projects span renewable energy, electric mobility, urban analytics, spatial equity, remote sensing, and spatial decision support.
