Follow-up to #7. Uploading videos to YouTube was a choice remembered from the last publish, and the dialog only showed it for posts with local videos. This makes it a real setting that shows in both dialogs.

Changes

  1. Publish to Substack: always has a YouTube line (Auto-upload videos / Off), with a note under it:
    • One local video · Unlisted
    • No local videos in this post · Unlisted
    • … · not connected: run :youtube to sign in
  2. YouTube dialog: a new Auto-upload line (On / Off) under Privacy.
  3. One setting: both lines use the same row id (auto). Session::settle saves it the moment either dialog changes it (youtube::Connector::keep_auto_upload). It's stored under the same state.toml key (videos) as before, so the old remembered choice carries over. Defaults to on.
  4. When auto-upload is on, the post has local videos and YouTube isn't signed in, Create draft stops and says to sign in or turn auto-upload off. With auto-upload off, the "cannot be uploaded; it became a link" warning shows again.
  5. README updated.

Checks

  • cargo fmt --check, cargo clippy --all-targets --all-features -D warnings, clippy without the youtube feature, cargo test --workspace: all pass.
  • Screenshots of the publish dialog with auto-upload on, off, and on a post with no videos.
  • Drove the dialog with --drive against a throwaway config folder: Right saved link, Left saved youtube.

Not covered

  • Screenshot mode runs offline, so it only shows the YouTube dialog's signed-out page. The Auto-upload line on the signed-in page wasn't seen on screen, only checked in code.
  • Separate, existing bug: Stet hangs forever in --screenshot mode when a document links a zero-byte video file.

…stack sheets

The publish sheet always has a YouTube line now, not only for posts with
local videos, with a note saying how many there are and who will see
them, or that YouTube isn't connected. The YouTube sheet shows the same
setting as Auto-upload. Changing it in either saves it at once. It keeps
the state.toml key the remembered choice used, so that choice carries over.
