Popular movies can look missing when Harbor has only loaded the provider's latest pages. Add a reproducible metadata audit to distinguish provider ID membership from initial-page and built-in visibility before changing catalog behavior.
The script ranks 500 distinct eligible movies from a chosen TMDB daily export, compares their stable IDs with the provider's bulk ID list and latest page, and records source fingerprints and explicit search/playback limitations. It uses three metadata requests (two with a cached export), without opening players or requiring credentials. Generated reports and caches stay in ignored release/audits/ and are excluded from this PR.
The October 4 checkpoint found 385 listed IDs and 115 absent from one snapshot. The provider snapshots disagree in total counts, so absence is not confirmed unavailability. This tooling PR does not add missing movies, fix global search, or verify playback; discovery/search and playback remain follow-up work.
Validation: independent read-only review found no findings; npm test passed in implementation verification; focused regression passed again before publication; both JavaScript syntax checks and staged whitespace checks passed. Regression covers ranking/exclusions, ID matching, bounded requests, cached inputs, malformed inputs, and failure handling. No desktop or TV runtime behavior changes.
