Summary

  • Add a Homebrew Formula for installing CodeAF on macOS and Linux.
  • Add a Homebrew Cask definition for macOS.
  • Add automated validation scripts for Formula and Cask definitions.
  • Add tests for Homebrew packaging and release validation.
  • Add Homebrew CI checks.
  • Update README installation instructions and documentation.

Supported Platforms

  • macOS: Intel and Apple Silicon
  • Linux: AMD64 and ARM64 (Formula only)

Testing

  • Homebrew Formula installation tested on Linux via WSL
  • Homebrew Formula test executed
  • Automated Python unit tests passed
  • Strict Homebrew Formula audit passes
  • Cask installation verified on macOS

Notes

  • Linux testing was performed using WSL.
  • macOS Cask installation still requires validation on macOS.
  • A public Homebrew tap is not included in this PR.

Motivation

Provide a convenient Homebrew installation option for CodeAF and establish automated validation to improve packaging reliability.
