Owner ask: study how the owner's content repo keeps news fresh from many sources and apply it. Practices taken (generic, no private details here): a source catalog, primary sources first, conditional/isolated fetching, URL+version dedupe, deterministic ranking, LLM for wording only with every number in the source.

  • su-code/research/radar-sources.md built from manifests (package.json, Cargo.toml, go.mod, pyproject): GitHub releases.atom, official changelogs, registries; last_seen per source.
  • CVEs from local audit tools first (pnpm audit --json, cargo audit, govulncheck, pip-audit): a private repo's dependency list is never sent out; advisory detail via GET api.osv.dev/v1/vulns/<id> (a POST query would also fall outside the rooms' permit allowlist).
  • Aggregators only flag items; the room reads the original. Dedupe vs earlier radars. Fixed ranking: CVE on the used version > breaking change > measurable gain > rest. Every line: version, date, link, impact; nothing not in the source.
  • Endpoints checked live: a GitHub releases.atom feed and an OSV advisory by id both 200.

Tests: cargo verbs::ccc 269 passed (playbook strings asserted). Gates: /sec OK (fixed: no dependency list sent to a third party), /rules ALLOWED, /aup-audit PASS, ccc risk low.

…s first

Catalog from the repo's manifests (releases.atom, changelogs, registries), CVEs
from local audit tools, dedupe against earlier radars, fixed ranking, every line
sourced; a failing source is logged and the pass goes on.
