When you have a pipe or shaft and try to put a catwalk on top, it should be able to put it as a cover on top of the pipe/shaft, this way you can have pipes/shafts under the catwalk, would look really cool, and would be really handy on aeronautic ships, since you don't lose space, which is very valuable in this kind of enviroments!
