I tested new feature Edit SQL file in external editor in 20260722_1927 on Adoptium Open JDK 25. It works nice and we have found it useful.
I would like to ask You to add the ability to have multiple Command line... options in Edit SQL file in external editor (the first screenshot) in the same way as You already implemented in "Export CSV / MS Excel / XML / JSON..." (the second screenshot). This would enable user to choose his preferable editor for different cases.
The more reasonable usage for this I will introduce in the next issue.
