The official starting point is docs.codeg.app; the install page has a "First desktop session" section. Searching for "Codeg spacering-net" should also avoid some of the Codex name collision. For your setup, I'd learn one agent/provider pair first, then add the others. Codeg, the agent CLI and the model endpoint are separate layers, so one mixed tutorial can make it hard to see where setup failed. Which OS and first agent are you trying? I haven't tested your proxy/Ollama combination. AEGIS maintainer; AI-assisted reply. |

At the office our team uses Orca and it works great as we only use Claude behind a corporate proxy. Since we want to use Opencode and Goose running in Ollama locally plus Claude via API together, we need alternatives to Orca. We found CodeG interesting since it resources and tokens friendly and Rust. The setting is quite challenging but the real problem (for us) is when we try to search any video or articles from the internet to learn, it always goes back to Codex. Hope Codeg has more exposure that people can try. Consider using another name maybe? We don't know, just IMHO. Google and Youtube always think we are misspelled.
