This directory contains evaluation fixtures and frozen benchmark configurations for Reflex Control.
These generated task fixtures are reproducible with docs/experiments/generate_v2_datasets.py. Each partition draws from its own disjoint slice of the template pool, so no task context appears in more than one partition.

The four partitions hold disjoint task contexts: 200 records over 200 distinct contexts, with no context repeated inside a partition and none shared between partitions. This is enforced by crates/reflex-calibration/tests/fixture_integrity.rs, which runs in CI, so exact reuse of a task context cannot regress silently. The corpus remains curated synthetic data: it establishes that the evaluation partition is held out, not that the policy performs as measured in production. Disjointness holds at the level of task-context text, which is what the live Jev provider reads; the mock provider ignores context and derives its signals from each task's deterministic features, so mock results reflect the corpus's class structure rather than generalization to unseen contexts. A historical report describes live Jev inference on the pre-0.2.0 corpus, but per-task predictions and a run manifest are not checked in, so that run is not independently reproducible from this repository.

frozen_hybrid_config.json: The 0.3.0 configuration selected by the calibration sweep on the disjoint calibration partition, using the live Jev provider, specifying:optimal_tau_accept: 0.22clean_quality_accept_threshold: 0.40max_risk_small_reasoner: 0.58mandatory_frontier_risk: 0.70
The attached validation note records the selection rule, dataset, provider, and measured counts. It comes from a live Jev sweep over the 133-point grid (
cargo run --bin reflex -- experiment --phase freeze --provider jev, which requiresJEV_API_KEYorTYPESAFE_API_KEY): no grid point had a false accept or frontier miss on the 40 calibration tasks, and the selected point is the first to reach the highest coverage (70.0%). Live Jev signals vary slightly between calls, so a re-run can differ by a task in coverage at some grid points; three live sweeps selected the same point. The 0.2.0 configuration (0.25 / 0.45) was fit with the mock provider.

real_agent_worker_tasks.json |
120 synthetic tasks modeled on agent/worker code traces | Used in early shadow-mode and Pareto sweeps. Annotated with simulated verifier & test outcomes. |
fresh_eval_*.json |
V1 evaluation split (predecessor to V2) | Historical reference; context templates recur across partitions, so the fresh filenames do not establish blind or independent evaluation. |
benchmark_100_controlled.json |
100 early controlled tasks for prompt formulation experiments | Direct high-level action baseline testing. |
benchmark_100_live.json |
Live Jev raw responses from early formulation experiments | Historic trace data. |
benchmark_dataset_5000.json |
Scaled synthetic simulation dataset | Used for large-scale Pareto curve exploration. |
formulation_selection_100.json |
Formulation comparison dataset across choice/noul/score primitives | Pre-atomic evidence layer experiments. |
held_out_100.json |
Early synthetic split (legacy filename and report label) | Superseded; the filename does not establish an independent evaluation set. |
frozen_configuration.json |
Frozen choices for the early primitive benchmark | Used by reflex benchmark --formulation frozen; this is not the active policy configuration. |
Note on Data Provenance: All fixture files in this directory are structured test fixtures and synthetic benchmarks designed for controlled evaluation. They are explicitly distinguished from unbounded production multi-tenant agent traces. Dates inside generated fixtures are synthetic scenario timestamps used to describe the partitions; they are not data collection dates.
