"Error installing launcher" on OS 10.11.6 El Capitan

Experiencing similar error to #1 issue that was closed. (Issue #1 - 11.10.4 vs 11.10.6 in my case)

Hello, I just tried installing in macOS Sierra (10.12.4) and have the same "Error installing launcher" issue.

Did anyone ever solve this? having the same issue on macOS Monterey
