Probably wrong build on F-droid

Read the blog article.

App can be configured as described in blog article.

Actual behaviour

Configuration section "Notification" has complete different options.

Nextcloud company just published new blog article how to setup Unified Push on degoogled phones by @KHerschbach

The package on F-droid version 24.0.4 https://f-droid.org/packages/com.nextcloud.talk2/ looks like google flavoured build. It has no support for Unified Push and report "Google Play services are not avalaible" instead.

Hi @kri164 do you have a UP distributor app (like sunup) installed? The option in the talk app will only be visible if you have this installed.

The f-droid build is correct and i just tested and confirm it is working
(btw the version can't also be the wrong one because F-droid is building the app itself. The info "Google Play services are not avalaible" is seen because you are using LineageOS)

Installing sunup doesnt help. Same. My talk package is installed from f-droid.

@kri164 I also have the package from F-Droid. I tried disabling Sunup and my Talk settings looked like yours. Enabled it again and the "Enable UnifiedPush" toggle appeared. So no clue what might be wrong on your end.

Maybe try "Restart Service" in Sunup's three-dots menu? Just a wild guess, though.

it's the server version.
Version 34 is necessary for this.
We fixed that in the documentation. Apologies it was not included yet. Also remember to turn on webpush in the server as stated in the blogpost.
