New Look
With new look becoming mandatory in Release Wave 2 which changes xpaths for elements, when will Easy Repro be updated to support New Look?

Hi jchalmd.

Don't know if you still need an answer to this but I'm not sure that this repository is maintained anymore. I believe the 2026 Release Wave 1 update means that the new look is now enforced everywhere.

The team I'm working with has test suite of around 1,000 tests that were built using (mostly) EasyRepro. This test suite is a gate to both pull requests and deployments and thus we need it to be stable. We decided to use the new look as an opportunity to migrate away from EasyRepro and Selenium and have since migrated many of our tests to a library I started (https://github.com/ewingjm/power-playwright). I believe this addresses a lot of the problems that we've had with EasyRepro over the years and has the advantage of being cross-platform and built with Playwright.

We've got full automated test coverage of the API and we'll be looking to keep things as stable as possible. Unfortunately, we don't have comprehensive documentation at the moment - we're aiming to have that by the same we do the v1 release at some point this year.

I believe you're right that this repository is no longer maintained. The power-playwright library looks great, we'll take a deeper look into it, thanks for sharing this option.
