I'm a big fan of the Simple Text Editor.
Here is a list of features I'd like to be added to it:

Line numbers. This could be a Boolean toggle switch to be possible to turn on and off. Ideally, add a 'number' type input field to allow the user to start numbering the first line from a certain number, 1 by default, but could be 0 or another number.

Be compatible with the OpenBoard spell checker app. Other text editors like FX TextEdit and VLK Test Editor already are. Meaning that OpenBoard underlines misspelled words.

Move the view by dragging anywhere on the page, like Squircle CE can.
