What would you like to see?

it would be nice to have access to the files from the current channels, and of course, for the people with the appropriate permissions to be able to delete them and upload respectively.

What problem does it solve?

this feature is currently available only on the mac's teamtalk default client, and given the lack of accessibility inside the server list it's very complicated to connect to a server to access it's files from there.

Good news: channel file sharing already exists in tt-Accessible — no need to go through the official client for this. It may just not be very discoverable. You'll find it in the Server menu once you're connected and inside a channel:

• Channel Files (Cmd+Shift+F) — opens the list of files in the channel, with download.
• Upload a File… (Shift+F5) — uploads a file to the channel.
• Deleting is done from the files window (subject, as it should be, to your rights on the server).

All of it is fully VoiceOver-accessible — so you no longer have to fight with the official client's poorly accessible server list. Can you confirm this covers what you need?

One useful clarification: this window shows the files of the channel you're currently in. That's exactly how the official client behaves for a standard user — the server only sends the file list for the joined channel anyway. The official client adds just one more thing, and only for administrators: browsing another channel's files by selecting it in the tree, without joining it. If you're an admin and that's precisely what you're missing, let me know — it's a perfectly feasible addition.

oh, yes, i didn't see that one. sorry about that. also, i know it's not related to this issue, but the updater didn't rename the app, i had to rename it manually. just letting you know about that since you mentioned this in the changelog.
