Samsung SSLC2000 sensor support needed for Galaxy Book6 Ultra (Panther Lake + IVSC)

Root cause found, and it isn't CVS — posting here because this issue is the top search hit for the Galaxy Book6 camera on Linux.

My machine is a Galaxy Book6 Ultra (NP960UJH-XG3US, Panther Lake, IPU7, same SSLC2000 ACPI device), and after a full bring-up I can confirm:

The sensor behind SSLC2000 is a SmartSens SC202PC (Samsung's Windows driver calls it "SC200PC"), a 2 MP 1080p30 RAW10 part on plain host I2C — intel_cvs is not involved at all on this platform. Verified three independent ways: live I2C probe (chip-ID reg 0x3107/08 reads 0x0B71, the SmartSens convention), disassembly of Samsung's Windows driver sc200pc.sys (it gates probe on the same 0x0B71), and the tuning-blob metadata inside Samsung's camera package (Sensor: SC202PC).

Two things that make this machine look CVS/OmniVision-related when it isn't:

• The ACPI tables declare five OVTI08F4 (OV08X40) sensor entries. An NVS dump shows they are empty template stubs — zero I2C addresses, _STA=0. The only live link is LNK0/SSLC2000. Don't chase _STA overrides.
• The CVS device INTC10E1 is DSDT-gated behind a flag the firmware never sets, so intel_cvs has nothing to bind to. Samsung's own Windows stack drives the sensor over SpbCx host I2C with no CVS/USBIO in the path (their INF deps confirm this).

So the failure mode is simply: no Linux driver existed for this sensor.

The good news: there is a working stack now. James Abbott (@Jabbslad) wrote a GPL-2.0 driver for the sibling Galaxy Book6 Pro (https://github.com/Jabbslad/sc200pc-linux), which works on the Ultra too — its init register table is byte-identical to the one in the Ultra's own Windows driver — with two additional fixes needed on kernel 7.1 (CSI-2 link frequency 195→416 MHz, and the analogue-gain register encoding). With that driver, a 2-line ipu-bridge IPU_SENSOR_CONFIG("SSLC2000", 0) entry, and libcamera's SoftISP, the camera runs at 1928x1088@30 in any PipeWire/libcamera app.
