errdap-python (v1.0.0) is not compatible with Apple Silicon macOS systems

I'd like to request a version of errdap-python that's compatible with macOS systems using Apple Silicon (arm64). I tried to install via both pip and miniforge and neither worked for me as of version 1.0.0. Thanks!

Could you please post the message that pip, or conda gives when you're trying to install?
Maybe I can figure it out, I still haven't been able to get my hands on a Apple Silicon macbook.

Has this issue been solved? I get issues suggesting compatibility problems with pandas 2.02 - what pandas version is the erddap client compatible with?
