onChange does not work in Codeview

I am facing an issue where the onChange method does not fire when a change is made in Codeview. I see there was a PR opened that was supposed to fix this #88 that added a onChangeCodeview. That does not work for me either and I do not see it in the source code. Any ideas how to resolve this?
