awsiotsdk build fails

Describe the bug

During awsiotsdk pip installation a failure occurs w/awscrt. I am using Python 3.14.2 with --disable-gil. i am including the big long error but I believe the operative part to this is: "The limited API is not currently supported in the free-threaded build"

A small compatibility-matrix test around DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX would strengthen the “awsiotsdk build fails” report. Covering the reported version together with one adjacent supported version would help distinguish the regression from an unsupported combination.
