iOS Share Extension → offline inbox → task draft #871

Description

@arul28

Why

No way to capture a task into ADE from other iOS apps. Competitor t3code ships a native OS Share target: share text/URL/image from any app → durable offline "share inbox" → project-routed new-task draft that survives cold start. ADE has nothing like it.

What it is

A native iOS Share Extension (small bundle inside the ADE iOS app) registered into the system Share Sheet. From Safari / Mail / Linear / Slack / Photos: Share → "ADE: New task" → content becomes a pre-filled composer draft routed to the right project, saved durably (works offline, survives app kill).

Flows

  • Read a Linear ticket / GitHub issue on phone → Share → ADE draft "address this: <url+text>" in the matching project.
  • Screenshot a bug / copy a stack trace → Share → ADE task with image/text attached.
  • Share a PR/article URL → "review this" task with the link as context.

Approach

  • Add an iOS Share Extension target (Swift) + App Group for one-shot handoff into the main app (reuse the App Clip pairing-handoff pattern: SyncService.adoptClipPairingHandoffIfPresent()).
  • Versioned offline "share inbox" (dedupe + size-validate) → convert to a project-routed task draft; hydrate on next app open.
  • Config plugin to brand the extension while preserving provisioning.

Acceptance

  • ADE appears in the iOS Share Sheet for text/URL/image.
  • Shared content becomes a durable, project-routed task draft that survives app kill / offline.

Source

t3code #4021 (~2.3k LOC). Note: no Mobile Linear project exists — filed projectless.
