Deco Hosting connects your GitHub repositories to Deco's hosting platform and turns your Git history into your deployment pipeline. Once installed, every push to a repository's default branch automatically builds and deploys your site — no CI to set up, no manual deploy step.

It also reports back into GitHub: each deploy shows up as a deployment on its environment (production, plus previews for pull requests), moves through its lifecycle (queued → in progress → success or failure), and gets a live "View deployment" link to the running site — visible right on your commits and in the repository's Environments.

Authenticating as a GitHub App scoped to the repositories you choose, it requests only what it needs: read access to repository contents to build your code, and write access to deployments and commit statuses to report results. It never modifies your source, and you can review or revoke its access anytime from your account settings.
