Installing curd on termux

I've been using curd on my laptop for a while now and I'm in love with how convenient it is, I'm not really aware how termux works but I know that ani-cli has it's own package on termux and it works just fine so I attempted to do a generic curd install with mpv installed on termux and on the android system which results in this error message

I'm not sure if this is a stupid question but is there a quick fix for this?

Did you install the arm version of curd for termux? arm version is at https://github.com/Wraient/curd/releases/download/latest/curd-linux-arm64

Since androids are arm based you would need arm version, it would work for the most part but i think you'd need some solution to open the episodes in mpv. The problem would be there is no video output (while you can hear the sound) (half way there lmfao).

Tell me if you find any solution to get video output.

Ok so I've done two different things to no avail, I downloaded the binary from the link you gave me and I got the same issue on launch

So I then decided to try and compile it inside of termux since maybe the build environment was the issue. I don't really know anything about termux or the android kernel but I installed go and gave it a shot.

I'm not really sure what's happening here, the file type and the system architecture match. What could be the issue?

I got curd working using proot-distro but as you said before it doesn't display video through mpv, only sound, the issue with this solution is that unfortunately ani-cli doesn't work inside a proot-distro environment

It opens the mpv application in android but ultimately it doesn't play the fetched video.

I'm not sure where to go from here.

Ill give it a shot but having a way to watch it with the android mpv app would obviously be more favourable

git clone https://github.com/wraient/curd

and then run

go run ./curd/cmd/curd.go

or build the curd binary, go would create a matching system arch binary for you (even tho it works as is in my android with just curd-linux-arm64, maybe this would give you a solution?

Lol I was just about to comment exactly this solution, running main worked for me just now, all that's needed to run the android mpv app is to use the am start command.

I got it to build properly btw, all I needed to do is change the GOOS variable to android in the buildlinux-arm64 build script.

Regarding the mpv solution, do you want me to make a pull request for that??

This solution is very minimal though, I only touched the player.go file and when the episode ends it doesn't go to the next episode

Sorry for necro'ing but if anyone cares to know, simply download the git, change GOOS=linux to GOOS=android in buildlinux-arm64 build then run the project with "go run ./curd/cmd/curd/main.go". It should auto open your browser for anilist auth and detect mpv as long as you have the mpv termux package installed and the official mpv android app.

I doubt there's enough want for one but how hard would it be to make a android/termux binary with just this change and have it part of the releases? Maybe also some documentation to tell users to install mpv in termux for it to detect actual mpv as well.
