The current issue proposes adding a way to mark a reviewer as absent from a FAP meeting on the FAP Members page. Before proceeding, I’d like to get feedback from other teams on whether this is the right place to manage meeting attendance.
The Members page currently lists the relationship between fap members and fap. If we mark a reviewer as absent directly on this relationship, I think it may incorrectly imply that they are absent from future meetings as well.
Since attendance is specific to an individual FAP meeting, I think it would be more appropriate to associate the attendance roster with the meeting itself rather than with the reviewer/FAP relationship.
I’m considering adding a small section to the Meeting Components section to manage attendance for the current meeting. This could include a multi-select dropdown listing the FAP members, allowing the meeting organiser to select the reviewers who are absent. Any members not selected would be considered present by default.
This would keep attendance specific to each meeting and avoid carrying an absence status over to future meetings.
