As suggested on #118 it is most likely we will run this course in its current state one more time, before we split it up. So we should wait to see when Intro to Python is running and then choose a date based on that. From a personal point of view, October is looking quite busy so I think I would prefer it if we could run it in November if we can find a date.

Intro to Python is likely to be in early October, so my suggestion is that we run this course in early November.

Intro to Python is running twice before Christmas 2026, on October 1st and November 5th, and the first of these is likely to be the Library Carpentry Intro course rather than the usual Software Carpentry Intro course. I have volunteered to help on whichever of them is the Library course so we can see what the differences are between the two (e.g. pandas) and whether any of them have any relevance to our course split, in particular the Data Analysis course.

I would therefore suggest that we run the Intermediate course for the final time before the split at some point in the weeks after November 5th - maybe on the 19th or the 26th (or a different day of the week if Thursdays don't work for either of you @Scottan @douglowe)?
