SyntaxLauncher is free and its source remains under the MIT licence. It grants no Minecraft licence. Gameplay requires Microsoft authentication, a valid Java Edition entitlement and a verified profile; this applies regardless of server configuration. Minecraft's EULA/Usage Guidelines, the Microsoft Services Agreement and third-party content licences apply separately. Back up worlds before changing content or versions. Development builds and live API approval have the limitations documented on the project page.
