Issue with configuring synonym search

Hi Team ,

We have a requirement to implement synonyms search in our SharePoint Online environment for native search and pnp modern search.
I have downloaded the source code uploaded the search.queryVariableInjector.min.js in the SharePoint site , created the synonyms list.
but they try implement for native search and pnp search I am not able to follow below steps.

5. Edit the Search Results Web Part and click on Change query
6. Replace {SearchBoxQuery} with {SynonymQuery}
7. Go to the Settings tab and set the loading behavior to Async option: Issue query from the browser
8. Store these settings and publish the page

Can you please help me how to configure Synonym search in SharePoint online environment for pnp search and native search.

This project won't help you unfortunately.

1. There is no synonym support for native modern search in Online
2. No one has implemented synonyms in PnP Modern search v4 yet - Query Modifier in v4 microsoft-search/pnp-modern-search#3013
