From f8357e1392c3d125b6dc83cf05ed80b4fa47ed03 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: ZhuchkaTriplesix Date: Fri, 9 Oct 2026 16:59:31 +0300 Subject: [PATCH 1/6] test(e2e): connection forms, Mongo explorer and CRUD, theme import, shutdown; e2e gate in release (#1050, #1052, #1053) - #1050: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB and SQLite connections created through the New connection dialog and their forms; New connection on a folder saves into it. - #1052: collections open into documents; add, edit a field and delete with confirmation, against an in-memory MongoService (new test-only instanceForTest seam). - #1053: an imported JSONC VS Code theme recolours the running app with no light frame; closing the window stops the MCP server and closes pooled sessions; a setting survives a restart. release.yml runs test/e2e and publishing waits for it. --- .github/workflows/release.yml | 32 ++- lib/core/database/mongodb_service.dart | 16 +- .../e2e_connection_form_test.dart | 203 ++++++++++++++++ .../e2e_mongo_explorer_and_crud_test.dart | 220 ++++++++++++++++++ .../e2e_app_lifecycle_and_shutdown_test.dart | 89 +++++++ .../e2e_theme_import_and_morphing_test.dart | 93 ++++++++ 6 files changed, 651 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) create mode 100644 test/e2e/01_connection_lifecycle/e2e_connection_form_test.dart create mode 100644 test/e2e/04_nosql_workspaces/e2e_mongo_explorer_and_crud_test.dart create mode 100644 test/e2e/06_shell_theme_and_command_palette/e2e_app_lifecycle_and_shutdown_test.dart create mode 100644 test/e2e/06_shell_theme_and_command_palette/e2e_theme_import_and_morphing_test.dart diff --git a/.github/workflows/release.yml b/.github/workflows/release.yml index fac4a9a6..44af14e4 100644 --- a/.github/workflows/release.yml +++ b/.github/workflows/release.yml @@ -40,6 +40,36 @@ jobs: echo "Tag $RAW matches pubspec semver $VER." fi + # End-to-end scenarios (test/e2e) must pass before a release is published. + e2e: + name: E2E tests + runs-on: ubuntu-latest + timeout-minutes: 30 + steps: + - uses: actions/checkout@v4 + + - name: Setup Flutter + uses: subosito/flutter-action@v2 + with: + flutter-version: '3.47.1' + channel: 'stable' + cache: true + + - name: Install Linux dependencies + timeout-minutes: 8 + run: | + APT="-o Acquire::Retries=3 -o Acquire::http::Timeout=20 -o Acquire::https::Timeout=20" + sudo apt-get $APT update + # bubblewrap runs the extension sandbox scenario;
