Book PDF layout: issues in Table of Contents #208

Description

@VuokkoH

Things to consider regarding book structure / table of contents in the PDF version:

  • Table of contents for Appendix is extensive! @davewhipp could perhaps check this. Consider revising heading levels and/or combining some sections under same upper-level heading, especially:

    • A.3 Version control with using Git and Github; revise wording and check need for all the subheadings
    • B.1 Do we need to show headings of all question solutions in the table of contents ? (edit heading levels accordingly)
  • Troughout; Check capitalization after colon (:) in headings (at least 4.4 Effective plot design: line plots)

  • Ch 10.1 has subheadings unlike other sections in chapter 10 - could check if section 10 can be still re-structured a bit if we keep it? E.g. combining WFS and WCS under same upper-level title @HTenkanen

  • 11.2.10 consider shortening the title (spans to two rows in the table of contents) @HTenkanen

  • 11.3. take out "(optional: download if you work on own computer)" from the heading @HTenkanen
