Hitboxes get thicker as the player is further away after the latest update (1.1.2)

This issue is a bit confusing – taken literally, this is neither a bug nor new behavior in 1.1.2.

There were two bugs:

• Normal and Proportioned mode were flipped compared to 1.8.9.
• On 1.1.2, Proportioned inadvertently made hitboxes get thinner rather than thicker for further-away entities. So not sure how you were getting the behavior on your screenshot, unless there's some weird platform-specific jank.

The latest rework in 1.1.3 restores dynamic distance-based width to Normal mode and removes Proportioned entirely. Wyvest told me to do this and explicitly told me not to keep a toggle for fixed width (i.e. 1.8.9 Proportioned), so as written, this is a "won't fix". But maybe the newest behavior will be satisfactory anyway, check it out.
