Software: add Archery, Signal 18 Replication Manager, TablePro, usql (#170)
Four MySQL/MariaDB-ecosystem tools not yet in the catalog, verified against their GitHub repos: - Archery — self-hosted SQL review/query platform (Apache-2.0) - Signal 18 Replication Manager — replication topology monitor and automated failover for MySQL/MariaDB/Percona (GPL-3.0) - TablePro — native Swift database client for macOS/iOS with MySQL support (AGPL-3.0, open core) - usql — universal psql-style CLI for SQL databases incl. MySQL, MariaDB, Percona, TiDB, Vitess (MIT) Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_011ngofKmdTadLGtQan4nwkW Co-authored-by: Claude <[email protected]>

Archery (SQL 审核查询平台, "SQL review and query platform") gives teams a workflow for proposing, reviewing, and executing schema and data changes before they reach a MySQL or MariaDB server, instead of running ad hoc SQL directly against production. Built on Django, it covers query review and execution, backup, a data dictionary, slow-query log analysis (via pt-query-digest and aquila_v2), session management, and account and parameter management, with review powered by the goInception and SOAR projects.

Partial support extends to Oracle, SQL Server, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Phoenix, ODPS, ClickHouse, Cassandra, Doris, Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Memcached, and TDengine, though MySQL and MariaDB have the broadest feature coverage. It's a secondary development of the archer project, maintained by hhyo and contributors, deploys via Docker or a manual install, and is released under the Apache-2.0 license.

Signal 18's Replication Manager (repman) monitors MySQL, MariaDB, and Percona Server replication topologies in real time — async, semi-sync, multi-source, multi-master, mesh, wsrep (Galera), Group Replication, and delayed replication — with GTID-aware topology detection.

24+
When a primary fails, it can run automated failover or a controlled, scheduled switchover, and integrates with ProxySQL, MariaDB MaxScale, HAProxy, and Spider so traffic is redirected automatically. Its dashboard includes a full-screen NOC slideshow for watching multiple clusters at once, integrated WebTTY terminal sessions, backup and alerting, and REST/gRPC APIs with role-based access control. Since version 3.1.43 it also supports PostgreSQL clusters, with active-passive, WAL streaming, and logical replication topologies.

It's developed and supported by SIGNAL18 CLOUD SAS, deploys on OpenSVC or Kubernetes (including init containers), and is released under the GPL-3.0 license.

TablePro is a database client built natively in Swift/SwiftUI rather than on Electron, JDBC, or a JavaScript runtime, aimed at staying fast and lightweight. It covers an SQL editor with autocomplete, multi-cursor editing, Vim mode, and syntax themes; an inline-editable data grid with sorting, filtering, and undo/redo; native window tabs and split panes; SSH tunnels and SSL/TLS; searchable query history; and built-in AI chat, inline suggestions, and Explain/Optimize, plus an MCP server and URL scheme for tools like Raycast, Cursor, and Claude Desktop. MySQL support ships as one of its built-in or on-demand plugin drivers.

Every feature above is free on every database, with no trial period. Optional paid Starter and Team licenses add Mac-only extras — iCloud Sync, encrypted export, environment variables, linked folders, query insights, result charts, Compare & Sync, and Data Rewind, plus (Team) a shared catalog and library; the iPhone/iPad app needs no license. It runs on macOS 13+ and iOS/iPadOS 18+ today, with a Linux build in development, and is released under the AGPL-3.0 license (the TablePro name and icon are excluded and governed separately).

usql is a single command-line client for SQL (and some NoSQL) databases, with an interactive shell modeled on PostgreSQL's `psql` — tab completion, multiple simultaneous connections, and the ability to copy data between different database engines in one session.

MySQL is a base driver included in every build, reached via the `mysql://` scheme or its `my`, `maria`, `mariadb`, `aurora`, and `percona` aliases (for example `usql my://user:pass@host/dbname`), and the same driver also connects to MySQL-compatible engines through the `tidb` and `vitess` schemes. It installs from prebuilt release binaries, Homebrew (`xo/xo/usql`), the Arch AUR, `go install`, or the official `xo/usql` Docker image; the `most` build tag adds most of the other stable drivers. It has no server component of its own and is released under the MIT license.
