Basic search query hangs without completing

For example, when I perform a basic search for records of Pinus strobus, the page tries to load but never finishes. However, when I use the advanced search tool and specify a dataset type (e.g., pollen), then the page loads. I hope this information helps improve the website."

Basic Request requires an abundance input parameter. Testing with > 3% for Pinus strobus returns a divide by zero error. Search terms and response: search: {"taxa":{"taxonIds":["697"],"abundance":{"minPercent":"3"}},"time":null}

Similar search in Advanced pane does not require abundance.
