Filenames with spaces

I need to save a basic program with a space in the file name.
On real iron (Zeta2SBC) I can issue the basic command SAVE "GL MENU.BAS" and the program is saved in the CP/M file system as GL MENU.BAS
in RunCPM the command saves the file as GLMENU.BAS with no space.
Please advise.

Just to mention - it is always a bad idea to use non-standard filenames in CP/M (also in MS-DOS), even though it is possible. You know why...

Heck, MBASIC allows spaces and lower-case names too!

Excellent tip. Thank you! However in my quick test PeachTree runs only on OBASIC. Not sure why.
