Developer Terms: storing derived chat data and showing an opt-in leaderboard for my own channel
#429
Hi! I run the channel kick.com/ceroface and built an app (LigaCero) that only works with my own channel. I'd like to confirm how the Developer Terms apply before my community uses it.
What the app does
Receives webhooks for my channel only: chat.message.sent, channel.followed, chtream.status.updated, moderation.banned.
Gives viewers loyalty points for taking part in chat (attendance, max 1 point per minute, streaks), ranks and badges.
A bot account answers chat commands (!perfil, !top).
No betting, no money, no ads. Data is never sold or shared.
How I plan to comply
Chat message text is deleted within 24 hours (Schedule 1, C). Only derived data is kept: user ID, username, timestamps, message length, whether it was a command, and a short hash to detect repeated messages.
A public privacy notice (Schedule 1, A), opt-in to appear on the website, opt-out at any time, and deletion on request (Section 5.2).
Questions
Is a public leaderboard for my own channel (Kick username, points, rank, badges), showing only viewers who opted in, allowed under Schedule 1, D.2?
Can the derived data above be kept for longer than 24 hours, or does it need writtle 1, C?
With the viewer's consent, can I show a badge based on how many months they've been subscribed to my channel?
Anything else I should add (attribution, rate limits)?
