From 89bed720bf04b68a886176d867b53edbd1fb5ee8 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Thomas Mieslinger Date: Tue, 11 Aug 2026 17:51:23 +0200 Subject: [PATCH 1/2] test(dim-testsuite): add missing layer3domain header to container-create-1.t 'list containers' grew a 'layer3domain: ' header; the two per-CIDR invocations in this file were updated for it but the 'list containers layer3domain default' one was missed. The ::/0 bug masked it because the test never reached that line. --- dim-testsuite/t/container-create-1.t | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) diff --git a/dim-testsuite/t/container-create-1.t b/dim-testsuite/t/container-create-1.t index 004cc81..5f80aba 100644 --- a/dim-testsuite/t/container-create-1.t +++ b/dim-testsuite/t/container-create-1.t @@ -33,6 +33,7 @@ $ ndcli create container ::/0 layer3domain default ERROR - ::/0 already exists in layer3domain default with status Container $ ndcli list containers layer3domain default +layer3domain: default 0.0.0.0/0 (Container) 0.0.0.0/0 (Available) ::/0 (Container) From 6d3c7219ed0bc44df130282e0e0dcc497d0e3737 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Thomas Mieslinger Date: Tue, 13 Oct 2026 12:35:13 +0200 Subject: [PATCH 2/2] fix(dim): add version to the ipblock uniqueness key (schema 13 -> 14) 0.0.0.0/0 and ::/0 both have address 0 and prefix 0, so the key (address, prefix, layer3domain_id) could not hold both in one layer3domain: creating the second one died with a raw MySQLdb.IntegrityError leaking the INSERT statement to the user. `version` is part of a block's identity and belongs in the key. It is appended rather than inserted so the existing (address, prefix, layer3domain_id) index prefix stays usable, and the index keeps its name -- Ipblock._set_parent() references it via USE INDEX (address). The migration only relaxes the constraint, so no existing row can violate it. ALGORITHM=INPLACE, LOCK=NONE makes the server refuse instead of falling back to a copying, locking ALTER. Running it on a database whose index was already widened by hand (ITOUDP-7795, uat) just rebuilds the same index. Originally written as 12 -> 13 on fix/ipblock-unique-version; master has used 13 for the pseudo user column since, hence 13 -> 14.
