Would it be acceptable if we published the libddwaf binaries as separate crates, or is there a policy against pre-built binaries?

Shipping source code is probably not very viable as a general distribution mechanism because we require a very recent C++ compiler.

AFAIK pre-built binaries are not acceptable, everything should be builr from soures

What does " recent " mean?

BTW, for this package it is already not compliant with the packaging Guidelines (so not acceptable for official repository)
