Figures in PDF compile in different locations (inline vs at end) on dfferent computers with different versions of pdflatex

• Compiling with MikTeX on Windows currently has all tables and figures at end, with TinyTeX (eg in Binder session) they are inline, eg Manuscript_with_floating_inline_figures.pdf
• May be related to fact that it looks like fig.pos = 'h' in global chunk settings isn't being applied now (h is for "here", ie show on this page if there is space), but can be configured using options here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42486617/knitr-ignoring-fig-pos
